Senior mechanical design engineer

What to expect of the job?
- You are involved in ‘the Big Picture’: from concept through production, including the design and engineering, prototyping, testing and verification, production tooling, documentation, QA /QC, …. adhering to quality, product margin and timeline requirements through the process.
- You drive your designs, demonstrating the ability to incorporate deadlines, interfacing with both suppliers as internal/external customers in a global environment.
- You are strong in generating innovative concepts and delivering creative ideas that improve the performance and efficiency of both new and existing products.
- You will actively participate in brainstorms and idea generation, modelling and demonstrating ideas and concepts.
Who are we looking for?
- You hold a master’s degree in electromechanics or Mechanical design.
- You have at least 10 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer in a machine-building company.
- You are a mechanical design engineer with knowledge and experience in different engineering domains, such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electrics, FEA, …
- You can work dynamically and independently.
- You take ownership of your responsibilities, take initiative and make things happen.
- You’re passionate about technology and excited to work on innovative, high-tech solutions that shape the future.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
