- 1. Design and production
Our products are designed to last as long as possible. We continue to service every piece of equipment we’ve designed, allowing customers to extend their use almost indefinitely.
At the same time, we aim to maximize efficiency and minimize waste in our production processes. Advanced monitoring systems ensure compliance with and beyond environmental regulations.
- 2. Cradle-to-cradle commitment
For a vast range of target materials, we provide the option to refill used targets and recover nearly 100% of unused material. For other materials, we provide regeneration services. Here, residual material is removed from the backing tubes, allowing both the tube and material to be reused. Customers who participate in this offer are rewarded with significant savings.
- 3. Responsible sourcing
To further reduce the carbon footprint of our production, we participate in responsible sourcing of raw materials. More specifically, we fully comply with local regulations, including ISO140001:215, ESG (EU) and OHS (US) standards. We actively avoid conflict resources and do not partner with companies that do not share our ecological values. Where possible, we source materials as close to our production sites as possible.
- 4. Reducing our energy use
Producing sputtering targets and equipment requires vast amounts of electricity. That’s why, at our EU plant, we have set the ambitious goal of producing our own energy by investing in renewable, energy neutral sources.
