For our machine shop in Izegem, we are looking for a warehouse operator.
How can you make the difference
- You will be responsible for receiving and registering incoming goods, including the physical handling of materials and accurate entry into our ERP system. Loading and unloading deliveries will also be part of your daily routine.
- You’ll ensure efficient and well-organized warehouse operations by managing stock levels, supporting the logistical flow of materials, and serving as a key contact for logistics-related matters.
- Waste management will also fall under your duties.
- You will assist with pre- and post-processing tasks related to our turning and milling activities. This includes sawing raw materials (mainly stainless steel) to specific lengths, deburring parts, and sorting materials efficiently.
Preferred qualifications
- Ideally, you have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, and you’re comfortable working in a technical environment.
- You are organized and have a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to safety, accuracy, and punctuality.
- You have a hands-on attitude and good technical insight.
- You can work independently, take initiative and are proactive in addressing challenges.
- You are comfortable using digital tools such as email and ERP systems for stock management and data entry.
- Practical experience operating a forklift is essential.
- You are fluent in English and/or Dutch (written and spoken).
