How can you make the difference

Are you ready to design user experiences that power the control systems of advanced industrial environments? Our Synaps platform collects and analyzes data across complex coating environments, enabling full control of the coating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and analyzing user requirements to inform design decisions
  • Designing clear, appealing, and functional interfaces for web and mobile platforms
  • Creating and maintaining design assets in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop
  • Translating ideas and concepts into responsive, production-grade web and mobile UIs using HTML5, JavaScript, and SCSS
  • Working closely with developers to implement your designs and iterate
  • Designing a range of interfaces including real-time dashboards, visual drawings of the complete environment, and control systems
  • Contributing to a consistent, user-centered design language across the entire platform

Preferred qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer, Frontend Developer, or in a similar role
  • Affinity for industrial/technical environments is a plus
  • Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SCSS/SASS/LESS.
  • Experience working with responsive design and solving cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • You have developing experience in a modern JavaScript stack (eg. Angular).
  • You can take your designs and write the HTML/SCSS required for a fully responsive experience.
  • You are familiar with:
    • Build systems and code bundlers such as Babel, NX and webpack
    • Container-based technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
    • Building and maintaining unit, workflow, and regression tests for UI
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • You are open to occasional travel to meet international clients, gain insight into their needs, and improve the relevance of the software.
