Spray Booth Operator

Spray Booth Operator
This position requires experience working in a Machine Shop environment. Individuals will train in the Procedures used in Target bonding using either the RTM or RTB machining process.
- Manufacture bonded / re-bonded rotary targets.
- Perform calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues during bonding process.
- Must be willing to learn and use latest technology.
- Understands, respects and follows all safety requirements and emergency procedures.
- Understands and willing to learn basic properties and reactions of chemicals within the work area.
- Responsible for the safe handling and processing of hazardous waste as required within the work area.
- Responsible for the completion of hazardous waste training as required.
- Ability to be fit tested and wear a full-face respirator when needed. (clean to semi clean shaven required)
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years of relevant machine shop experience.
- Proficient with power tools, measuring instruments and conversion of standard to metric units.
- Experience reading blueprints and the concept of GD&T.
- Proficient reading and writing skills.
- Able to follow all safety and manufacturing procedures.
- Basic math skills.
- Mechanical skills.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Attentive to details.
