Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is a part of the leadership team and oversees Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), ISO, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) at our manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promotes a safe and healthy work environment, and maintain the highest quality standards in our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- ISO Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant certifications.
- Quality Control: Oversee and manage the quality control processes to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S): Manage EH&S programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, complying with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Supplier Quality Engineering: Oversee supplier quality engineering activities, including supplier audits, performance evaluations, and improvement initiatives.
- Analytical Lab Management: Manage the operations of the analytical lab, ensuring accurate and timely testing and analysis to support quality control and product development.
- Packaging Management: Oversee packaging processes to ensure products are packaged according to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of five colleagues, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance across the facility.
- Training & Development: Provide training and development to staff on quality control, ISO compliance, QA, EH&S, supplier quality engineering, analytical lab procedures, packaging, and team management.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Accountability: Maintain personal accountability for achieving production goals and adhering to company policies and standards. Hold team members accountable for their performance and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in compliance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or ISO Lead Auditor are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality control, QA, EH&S, supplier quality engineering, analytical lab management, packaging, and team management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
