Casting Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Caster to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality cast components by following established processes and specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

How can you make the difference

• Operate casting equipment and machinery to produce components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments for quality control.
• Perform routine maintenance on casting equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling and movement within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery including lathes and other machine tolls.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately follow specifications for production.
• Experience with fabrication and TIG welding techniques and processes.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely within the manufacturing environment.
• Competence in using hand tools effectively for various tasks related to casting production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
